Surrounding yourself with images of who you want to become, how you want to live, or what you want to change, may help motivate you to stay on your desired path and help you reach your health goals.
Before you begin your wellness collage take a moment to think about what it is you want. Maybe one word will be the answer. Maybe images will come into your head. This process will help you come up with a clear direction.
Now visualize your wellness goals
Step 1: Go through magazines and clip images, headlines and words that speak to you. Remember to imagine your ideal healthy lifestyle.
Step 2: Sort through the images and lay your favorites on a piece of poster board. An optional, but powerful way to layout your collage would be to place a fantastic photo of yourself (where you look radiant and happy) right in the center of your board.
Step 3: Glue everything onto the board and write yourself inspirational messages or quotes.
Step 4: Hang it in a place where you will see it often.
Look at your wellness collage daily and reflect – how do you feel when you see it? Does it encourage you to live your life differently? Use your collage to stay motivated, focused and excited about living your healthiest life.
